Eggnog Lattes in Kelowna

Move over Pumpkin Spice Lattes, it’s now the season for Eggnog Lattes!

Eggnog Lattes are my favourite holiday drink. They’re creamy, sweet, lightly spiced, and give you that little caffeine kick you’re looking for. I don’t love super sweet beverages personally so an Eggnog Latte is the perfect balance for me.

The drink is traditionally made with espresso or strong coffee, frothed eggnog, and a pinch of cinnamon. There are variations to this of course. You can add milk to the egg nog, nutmeg, whip cream, or even liquor.

What Makes a Standout Eggnog Latte

  • Good quality eggnog
  • Espresso, opposed to strong coffee
  • Texture is important! It has to be so creamy, the more creamy the more luxurious 😉

Starbucks has dropped the ball two years in a row now, but don’t worry! Local Kelowna coffee shops have got you covered. Here are some of my favorite Eggnog Lattes in Kelowna you MUST try!

Third Space Coffee

I love supporting Third Space as 100% of their profits are donated to Third Space Life Charity, which provides free supportive counselling and mental health resources for students in the Okanagan. Right now, they have a variety of holiday drinks to choose from, including an Eggnog Latte made of their espresso and eggnog. Taste wise, I would say they took a pretty classic approach to an Eggnog Latte. It wasn’t overly sweet or elaborate with latte art, but still gave me the eggnog fix I was looking for!

Bright Jenny

Bright Jenny is big on sustainability and transparency which has always resonated with me. Their version of an Eggnog Latte also consisted of eggnog and their espresso, with their eggnog coming from Blackwell Dairy, right here in the Okanagan! I thoroughly enjoyed this Eggnog Latte, not overly sweet but the high quality ingredients really came through.

Deville

Deville is a modern, gorgeous space newer to Kelowna. Their Eggnog Latte is made of eggnog, espresso, and a hint of cinnamon. The hint of cinnamon definitely makes it feel like Christmas in a cup which I loved, however, no elaborate latte art on top. They also offer an Oat Nog as an alternative!
