Kelowna Rockets Games – A Winter Downtown Experience
Who is ready for winter to be over?
I know I sure am. Nothing is worse than being cooped up inside with nothing to do. I find in the summer time there are so many activities that go on while the winter season is so lack lustre.
This winter, I’ve been regularly attending Kelowna Rockets games – and it’s been a blast! I’ve gone to almost every home game and I’m not slowing down any time soon!
I know what you’re thinking. What if you’re not the biggest hockey fan?
I enjoy hockey personally. But there’s more to it than just the sport. It’s the experience I have at the Rockets games.
Kelowna Rockets games are held in the heart of downtown at Prospera Place. Downtown is where it’s happening in Kelowna. Games start at 7pm so I typically love going for dinner before hand with my family or with my boyfriend if we’re having a date night. After a good meal, we walk on over to the arena and have a couple drinks, maybe a soft pretzel, and enjoy the game! Do you know how many people come to these games? 5-6,000! That’s a lot. Definitely a good place to go if you want to be seen and meet people! AND, there are a ton of guys there if you ladies are looking 😉
Check out this interview I had with Dalton Gally!
The venue is all ages so if you’re a parent, it’s perfect for bringing your kids. If you’re looking for a date idea, it’s affordable and fun! I go with my family regularly and we always have a good time cheering on our Kelowna Rockets.
What’s also appealing is the fact that the games don’t run too late so you still have the rest of the night to do something else. It’s perfect because you’re already downtown so your evening can continue if you wish!
With playoffs coming up, the Rockets need all the fans they can get. The more people packing Prospera Place, the better!
SOOO….I’ve partnered with the Rockets so that you guys can enter the chance to go to dinner and a game!
See you at the next Rockets Game!
