Jan 23rd – @eatskelowna

Today I am featuring @eatskelowna. If you know me, you know I’m a huge foodie and a big chunk of my blog I dedicate to great restaurants. Kyle has a similar idea to his business! His feed is filled with amazing food so he caught my eye almost immediately since we both share a love with food. Check out Kyle and his EatsCanada accounts!

My name is Kyle Perison and my business is EatsCanada! You can follow me at @eatskelowna and eatscanada.ca. I also have Eats accounts for other cities.

EatsCanada is a web and social marketing agency focusing on the niche of local restaurants and helping those restaurants connect with a greater audience.

I use Instagram as a tool to meet other creators and connect viewers to local restaurants.

My favorite Instagram accounts to follow currently are: @jessedriftwood for his impeccable storytelling via Stories, @lelonigrace to support my wife, and @mariefeandjakesnow for their travel adventures.

I follow @jennaswetlikoff because I love supporting other local creators.

The most important part of my business journey so far would have been making the decision to start. Starting my business immediately opened the doors to new relationships, friendships and opportunities. Regardless if you succeed or not, every time you start something new, you learn something new. You never know when that new-found knowledge will help move you forward in your journey.

What makes me stand out from other businesses? This project is still pretty fresh and I’m still figuring out what it will become. For now, EatsCanada offers advertising options for restaurants to promote their specials and popular dishes via Instagram but also offers affordable websites for restaurants who are interested in expanding their brand presence online.

My 5-year goal with my business is to continue growing and build up authority within all of BC with eventually branching into other provinces. I hope to have the website services established and offering 50+ unique design templates fro restaurants to choose from. Lastly, to build a easy-to-use POS ordering system that lets users find and select a local restaurant then pre-order or order for pickup, directly from a website and IOS/Android app.

I push through the worst times by turning the worse times into growing times. Basically, taking what’s difficult and reengineering it into an opportunity to learn from.

I am looking forward to see where I can take my business.

Thank you for having me on the Who’s Out There? SERIES!!!

Spread the love
