Oct 10th – @houseofmarz
Today I am featuring @houseofmarz. I have only been following her for a short amount of time but have been enjoying what she has to offer. I love an Instagram account that visually looks pretty – and hers is just that. Helena’s photos have a moody more neutral color theme which I am obsessed with. Her hair is amazing, I love big hair, and her style is on point. Her main focus is fashion but what is different about her style is that it’s reachable in terms of budget. Many fashion bloggers exclusively showcase crazy expensive clothes that one would never be able to afford. Helena has great taste but still shops on a budget. Check her out.
My name is Helena and my Instagram account is @houseofmarz. You can connect with me through Instagram and LIKEtoKNOW.it. House of Marz is a brand that helps followers express themselves and have their own sense of style. Incorporating affordable brands with a mix of high-end designers while still looking like a million bucks is what House of Marz strives to do. All without breaking the bank. My feed gives tips and ideas of where to shop for reasonable prices on high end pieces. I also just love how fashion in general gives a person a unique sense of self and use my business to encourage that.
I started following @stuffwithsvet because of the beautiful feed. Jenna is full of life and has so much positive energy that attracts people to follow her. I use Instagram in general because Instagram is the most popular platform for fashion/beauty/lifestyle influencers to grow their businesses. It’s great for attracting followers to gain traffic to your website and increase sales. Connecting and building friendships in the community is also another benefit I love.
My favorite Instagram accounts to follow are: @elegantedge, @styleconceptblog, @ashley_elle, @therealjosielynn, and @dressinheels.
The most important part of my business journey so far would be consistency. I am consistent with posting on my blog at least once or twice a week and posting at least one photo at least 4 or 5 days a week. Also, finding ways to get my name out there to grow my business and inspiring people through my love for fashion. My 5-year goal with my business is to increase my followers and engagement so I can be able to work with high quality brands. Therefore, this will allow me to make enough income so I can turn my business into a full time job.
It’s hard to say what makes my business stand out from other business. I would say it’s mostly about me getting personal and sharing my real life stories and obstacles I have gone through in my life. I think it makes it memorable to other people knowing what I am about in this business and therefore, inspiring them.
There has been times where I have had ups and downs with my business such as not growing quickly enough or not receiving enough engagement. It gets to the point where I do the comparison game. I have realized that the only way to push through is to stop looking at what others are doing and focus on myself and my own growth. Everyone grows their business at a different pace depending on their type of niche and I have been learning that I am not going to be everyone’s cup of tea.
I think @elegantedge should be featured on the Who’s Out There? SERIES or any of the Instagram accounts I mentioned above.
Thank you for having me on the Who’s Out There? SERIES!!!
