January Best Bites 🍽️✨⁠

January can be a quiet month for dining out, but that just made us get a little creative! Here’s what stole the show this month:⁠

• Chicken Piccata – @bernieskelowna, Kelowna⁠
Pan-roasted chicken with roasted garlic potato purée, caper & tarragon pan sauce, finished with black truffle & date vinaigrette 🍗⁠

• Pesto Fries – @bernieskelowna, Kelowna⁠
Cashew pesto, parmesan reggiano, garlic aioli… these fries are dangerously addicting 🍟⁠

• Cherry Foam Iced Americano – @breadcokelowna, Kelowna⁠
Iced coffee topped with luscious cherry foam, perfectly balanced and not too sweet 🍒☕⁠

• Beetroot Citrus Salad – @table_nineteen, Kelowna⁠
I make salads at home all the time, but the citrus honey vinaigrette on this one impressed me 🥗⁠

• Molten Lava Cake – @table_nineteen, Kelowna⁠
Hot, gooey, and served with vanilla ice cream 🍫🍨⁠

• Homemade Pasta – DIY⁠
Nothing beats fresh pasta with your choice of sauce 🍝⁠

If you’re not on social media in 2026… what are you even doing? 🤔

I hear it all the time: “Social media doesn’t drive sales.”

Sure… but let me ask you this. Have you ever looked on Instagram to find a new restaurant or coffee shop? Watched someone try a product before deciding if you wanted to buy it? Exactly. Social media isn’t just for scrolling anymore, it’s a search engine.

Case in point: this week I was shopping for cotton running clothes. I spent over an hour on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest checking out products, seeing real people’s experiences, and without even interacting with the business, I made my purchase.

People trust real voices, not just ads. Your social media presence can literally make or break whether someone chooses your product or service.

It’s officially Taste Around Kelowna season 🍽️✨⁠

It’s officially Taste Around Kelowna season 🍽️✨⁠

You might recognize this spot from last year. We loved it so much, we had to come back — one of their dishes even made it onto my 2025 Eating Wrapped!⁠

From now until February 8, @table_nineteen is offering a three-course dinner for $45 per person, curated by Executive Chef Prasad Chavan.⁠

We kicked things off with some of their specialty cocktails, followed by a mix of crowd-favourite starters, rich and comforting mains, and a dessert lineup that was the perfect finish. Everything was thoughtful, well-balanced, and exactly what you want from a winter dining experience.⁠

If you’re planning a Taste Around stop, make sure Table Nineteen is on your list before February 8. They’re also open year-round with a cozy winter menu, Tuesday–Saturday from 12pm and yes, open to everyone. No memberships or golf required.⁠
