Kelowna Halloween Events 2025

Halloween is just around the corner, and Kelowna has plenty going on to get you in the spirit! Whether you’re into haunted houses, themed parties, or something more family-friendly, there’s no shortage of events to check out this October. Here’s a roundup of what’s happening around the city for Halloween 2025!

Friday, October 31, from 8:00 PM – 11:59 PM, Red Bird Brewing will host a big Halloween costume party with DJ Conro spinning beats all night. There will be tarot readings by Marissa Young (8:15 – 11:00 PM), a 360° selfie station, and costume prizes. Costumes are mandatory (no masks or weapons).

Thursday, October 30, from 7 – 9 PM, Hello Darlin’ inside BNA Brewing is hosting a Halloween Open Mic. Expect spooky-themed music, poetry, and storytelling, and don’t forget to dress up; costumes are encouraged!

Friday, October 31, starting at 5:30 PM, the Halloween Howl is a festive evening by the lake featuring costumes, live music, and a buffet. It’s a fun way to celebrate with friends and enjoy the spooky season in style.

On Sunday, October 26th, from 1 – 4 PM, the Family Monster Bash at MNP Place is back for an afternoon of games, crafts, costume contests, and spooky treats. It’s a free event (donations encouraged) that’s perfect for families looking to kick off Halloween weekend.

If you’re looking for a good scare, head to the Black Mountain Haunted House at Hillcrest Farm Market. Running October 17–19, 24–26, and 31 from 6 – 10 PM, it’s packed with interactive sets, jump scares, and theatrical effects. There are also family-friendly daytime sessions for younger kids, so everyone can attend!

CRAFT Beer Market transforms into a haunted taproom on Friday, October 31, from 9 PM until late. Expect spooky cocktails, DJs, dancing, and plenty of eerie vibes!

HorrorFest returns to Metro Hub for two nights of frights: Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25, from 7 PM until late. This indie horror film festival features short films, local vendors, and costume contests, perfect for horror lovers and movie buffs alike.

Priest Creek Winery is hosting multiple outdoor Halloween movie nights throughout October, from classics to spooky favourites, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a cozy fall evening under the stars. Running Fridays and Saturdays from October 24-31, 6 – 10 PM, Myra Canyon Scare Park offers an outdoor haunted trail experience filled with live actors, eerie sounds, and chilling surprises. Definitely not for the faint of heart!

This is an elegant, immersive Halloween-inspired dinner held inside Oak + Cru’s beautifully themed wine cellar. Enjoy a curated multi-course menu in an intimate setting surrounded by seasonal decor and wine pairings. Perfect for groups of 4–12 looking for something a little more refined and festive.

On Saturday, October 25, from 12 – 3 PM, SpearHead Winery is hosting a daytime Halloween Howl to support Paws It Forward, a local dog rescue. Enjoy fall vibes, sip wine by the glass, and meet adorable adoptable pups looking for their forever homes. A fun, feel-good way to celebrate the season.

Join Railside Brewery for their second Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest on Oct. 26th from 3-6 PM to get into the Halloween spirit!

For even more Halloween fun, Kelowna also has month-long attractions like the Corn Maze at Don-O-Ray’s Haunted Farm Adventure, perfect for casual daytime visits anytime in October.
