Bin 4 – Not Just Good Burgers
You guys know I’m a big “foodie” and am always on the prowl for a new restaurant experience in Kelowna. So when I came across bin 4 Burger Lounge, I instantly zoomed over there to see what’s going on!
bin 4 is a burger lounge that has five locations in BC. The first restaurant originated on Vancouver Island, specifically Victoria, where there are 3 current establishments. bin 4 has expanded to Vancouver as well and now has made its way to Kelowna.
This burger place has a simple, straight forward model: make a variety of great gourmet burgers with local ingredients, international flavours, house made aioli and yummy sides. Vegetarian, gluten free and kids’ options are all over the menu too.
When you are first seated at bin 4, you are presented with a small bowl of homemade, crisp, lightly salted potato chips. Already a yes in my books! Who doesn’t love chips?!
What’s amazing about their burger menu selection is that there is a burger for every palate. Lamb, bison, beef and yes…Wagyu beef, chicken, tuna, vegetarian, vegan and more!
One of my favorites is the tofu burger below – yes, a tofu burger!
Another standout are the many homemade aioli dips, which are served alongside your selection. You can dip your fries into it, pour it on your burger, whatever your heart desires!
Even though bin 4 is known as a burger lounge, they have other incredible menu items as well. Salads, bowls, appetizers, and more. Check out this amazing tuna salad.
Have I mentioned they make fantastic drinks too?! Their cocktails are amazing with again, using only the freshest ingredients and quality spirits. Their simple syrup is made in house which is a big thumbs up for me. They have a very unique drink menu including draught and bottled beer, ciders and sparkling, bubbly drinks. But my favorites are probably the sangria and the Blackberry Vanilla Lemonade. Of course, bin 4 offers many alcohol free options too.
Last but not least, their desserts. They have a mouth-watering cheesecake and more. Every month they have a new feature menu – including a different cheesecake! My favorite one so far is the Maple Peach cheesecake.
If you’re looking for a fantastic, burger focussed restaurant, with incredible service, you can count on bin 4. Whether you come by yourself, with your date, your family, your work group or sports team…bin 4 will not disappoint. Be sure to check out their location in Kelowna on Powick Rd., you might just run into me there.
