Stop by one of my favourite spots for a warm, cozy meal this season! Whether you’re craving comfort food classics or something hearty and flavourful, these local gems offer the perfect dishes to keep you feeling warm and satisfied all season long.

  • Mad Mango Cafe– Located in Downtown Kelowna known for its flavorful, fusion-style comfort food. Famous for its hearty curry soups and fresh, affordable dishes, this cozy café offers a unique blend of Asian and Western flavours. You have to try their Laksa soup, it’s my favourite!
  • Roma Nord Bistro- If you want a taste of Italy, you have to try this restaurant! Their pasta and gnocchi are a MUST try and their tiramisu for dessert…you can’t go wrong.
  • Fiesta Del Sol- From their mouth-watering enchiladas to their flavourful tacos, they have it all! And the best part? Their prices are UNBEATABLE in Kelowna!
  • Little Hobo Soup & Sandwich Shop- A great sandwich and soup shop, offering much more than just those two items. It is a great place to enjoy comforting, homemade food. My go-to order is the perogies and borscht.

Visit a local Orchard/Farm to take in the beautiful autumn scenery, and enjoy family-friendly activities, for a classic seasonal experience. It’s a great way to embrace the Fall spirit and get some cute photos!

  • McMillan Farms– This Kelowna, family-owned farm has a beautiful sunflower maze, pumpkin patch, corn maze and hay rides!
  • Don-O-Ray Farm– Enjoy a variety of fun activities for everyone from pumpkin picking to exploring Don-O-Ray Farm Adventure Park and their petting zoo.
  • Davison Orchards- Located in Vernon, this orchard is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains! Enjoy fresh baked goods, ice cream, tractor rides, their pumpkin patch and more.
  • O’Keefe Ranch- Located in Vernon, this 50-acre living museum is managed by a non-profit registered charity. Enjoy close to two dozen heritage buildings, a pumpkin patch, a candy shop and a haunted corn maze during October.

The Okanagan has some of the most beautiful views! My favourite time of the year to watch the sunsets is during Fall in the Okanagan. Check out some of my favourite places to catch the sunset!

  • Knox Mountain- A classic spot in Kelowna, offering a variety of trails to choose from (Pauls Tomb, Apex Lookout and more)
  • Pincushion Stunning panoramic views of Peachland.
  • Spion Kop Located in Lake Country, with views of Wood, Duck, and Okanagan Lake!
  • Mount Boucherie- If you’re up for a bit of a climb, Mount Boucherie in West Kelowna is a short, but steep, hike that’s well worth it for the view and sunset overlooking the lake.
  • Bertram Creek Regional Park A hidden gem in Kelowna, offering picturesque views of Okanagan Lake and a peaceful setting for outdoor activities, or a picnic.
  • Mission Creek Regional Park– A beautiful spot for nature lovers, featuring scenic walking and biking trails along the Mission Creek Greenway. In the Fall, the park is especially stunning with vibrant Autumn colours

Grab a friend, do some work, or read a book while drinking a warm beverage from some of my most-loved cafes in Kelowna, BC to get in the Fall mood. Some of my favourites include:

  • Analog- I love the vibe and location of this coffee shop. It is a small, aesthetic, earthy-toned space with great coffee. PLUS, they are dog-friendly.
  • Karat Chocolate & Pastry – Has hand-crafted chocolate, desserts, and a variety of delicious drinks.
  • Deville A beautiful modern space serving unique beverages, such as their famous Nutella Hot Chocolate.
  • Sprout- This is a must-visit place if you’re in Kelowna! It’s quite big so there is a variety of seating options which is nice, as well as a rustic atmosphere.
