Cute Galentine’s Day Ideas to Do in Kelowna

It is almost Valentine’s Day which means a day to celebrate LOVE, whether that be by yourself, with a special someone, or with the gals in your life. If you’re still fretting about what to do this Valentine’s Day season, look no further!

I have compiled a list of some cute activities and events going on during this time in Kelowna, specifically for the girls. Check out my last year’s blog post on Valentine’s Day Activities for more romantic ideas.

Galentine’s Day—a day for women to celebrate their friendships. Whether you choose to take part on February 13th, 14th, or any other day of the year, here are some of my top recommendations for a cute gal’s night out in Kelowna!

  • Galentine’s Day Afternoon Tea with the Vibrant Vine Winery – Enjoy a 3-course afternoon tea menu that includes a variety of gourmet tea sandwiches, fresh scones with Devonshire cream and homemade jam, and petit desserts. Each guest will be served a selection of bottomless teas served in vintage china for $57.75/person.   • Valentine’s Charcuterie Board Building Workshop with TJ’s Grazing – Sip on a glass of wine and create your very own charcuterie masterpiece. Expert hosts will guide you through the process, offering tips and inspiration along the way for $80.14. When: February 11th, 3-5 PM, Where: Sperling Vineyards
  • Galentine’s Day Floral Workshop with Frakas & Floral Therapy – Enjoy an hour-long floral workshop to create the bouquet of your dreams while sipping on bubbly, and enjoying festive treats. Followed by exclusive shopping discounts at Frakas, and a Frakas goody bag for $75/person. When: February 10th at 2 PM, Where: Frakas Clement
  • Valentine’s Charcuterie Workshop with Salt & Wedge – Create a Valentine-themed charcuterie board in a cozy and intimate speakeasy lounge. Bring your best gals or a special someone and enjoy an afternoon of laughs, wine, and your very own charcuterie board for $90/person.   • Afternoon High Tea at the Eldorado – Afternoon tea at the El including delectable finger sandwiches, scones, and fine pastries for $45/person. When: Saturdays and Sundays from 2-4:30 PM, Where: Lakeside Dining, Hotel Eldorado
  • Sip with your Sweetheart with The Westside Wine Trail – Bring your sweetheart or besties on this love-filled journey through the Westside Wine Trail and enjoy wine tasting in the off-season, with scenic winter views and welcoming tasting rooms for $15.   • Candle Curating Workshop with Okanagan Candle Co. – A 1-hour experience for $75/person, including the basics of candle curation (scent building, mixing & melting, and aesthetics) From this workshop, you will design your very own candle including, vessel, scent, and dust cover. *Valentine’s Day workshop February 14th & 17th, includes complementary beverage, exclusive scents and vessels.
  • Pottery Painting at Work of Art Pottery Studio –  Choose from a wide assortment of ready-to-paint bisque and stoneware pieces and create your art piece with their fun selection of paints. Plus enjoy Sip and Paint nights for $50/person. Includes pottery, paint, firing, and 2 glasses of wine.
  • Lakehouse Workshops/Cooking Classes – Enjoy cooking classes at Lakehouse for foodies of all skill levels with a variety of price points and many different class styles and themes.
  • Macrame Workshop with Hello Soulshine – Gather your besties for an evening (or afternoon) of fun and macrame with all supplies included, in the comfort of your own home for $65/person. With the choice of creating: a plant hanger, 2 wristlets, 2 coasters, a heart wall hanging, or a rearview rainbow car diffuser.
  • Cocktail-Making Class with Born to Shake – Enjoy a welcome cocktail, a private cocktail class with two recipes taught by lead mixologists, and a take-home cocktail kit for each guest including two instructional recipe cards. Prices vary, based on the number of participants.
