Kelowna Mother’s Day Guide 2026

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, landing on Sunday, May 10, 2026, and it is a nice opportunity to slow down, step away from the usual routine, and spend time with the moms and mother figures in your life.

Whether you are planning brunch, a little self-care, or something more low-key this year, there are plenty of simple and thoughtful ways to make the day feel special in Kelowna!

I update this guide every year, and it has quickly become one of my most popular posts, so here is the 2026 version. A mix of go to ideas, local favourites, and a few newer options to help you plan something that feels a bit more intentional. Keep reading for a mix of simple and meaningful ideas to help you celebrate.

  • Kelowna Yacht Club Mother’s Day Brunch – Celebrate Mother’s Day with a waterfront brunch at the Kelowna Yacht Club on Sunday, May 10th from 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Enjoy a full buffet with breakfast favourites, lunch options, carving stations, and desserts, all in a beautiful lakeside setting. Adults $43.50 | Kids 6–12 $16.95 | Kids 5 and under complimentary. Reservations are required, so be sure to book early.
  • Kin & Folk Mother’s Day Brunch – Celebrate Mom on Sunday, May 10th from 11:00 AM – 2 PM with a special brunch service in Kelowna and Penticton featuring an incredible seasonal menu. Reservations are required, so be sure to book ahead and secure your table.
  • Mother’s Day Brunch at Bouchons Bistro – Celebrate Mom with an elegant French-inspired brunch featuring spring flavours, sweet treats, and all her brunch favourites on Saturday, May 10th. Mother’s Sunday Brunch buffet $59 per person. Reservations are required and seating is limited, so be sure to book early.
  • Mother’s Day Brunch at Delta Grand Okanagan – Enjoy a lakeside brunch buffet in the Grand Ballroom on Sunday, May 10th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM featuring live saxophone, caricature artist, and a special gift for moms. $79 per adult.

  • Mother’s Day High Tea at Meadow Vista – Celebrate outdoors on Sunday, May 10th with a wine-paired four-course high tea featuring local honey, scones, sandwiches, and sweet treats. Includes wine pairings, a complimentary tasting, bee tour, lawn games, and a take-home gift for moms. Outdoor patio seating with reserved time slots required.

  • Petals & Pastries: A Mother’s Day High Tea Experience – Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with an intimate high tea featuring tea service, pastries, and a beautifully styled setting filled with blooms. A cozy, thoughtfully curated afternoon designed to slow down, share something sweet, and celebrate the mother figures in your life. Saturday, May 9th from 11 AM – 1 PM.
  • Spa or Wellness Experience – A gift card for a treatment or facial at local favourites like Organic Glow Medical Aesthetics or another Kelowna wellness studio. A simple way to give her time to relax and reset.
  • Photo Experience or Mini Session – A gift card toward a local photographer for updated family photos or a mother–child session is a more meaningful long-term gift. I personally love Theresa Easter Photography.
  • Find a local gift at The Kelowna Farmer’s Market at the Landmark District, open every Wednesday & Saturday, 8 AM- 1 PM.
  • Flowers – Funky Petals, Jolie’s Fleurs Florals, Bread and Butter Blooms are a few of my favourites. For something that lasts a little longer, look into a flower subscription like Bread & Butter Blooms, which offers seasonal, locally grown bouquets available through a subscription or single orders. A simple way to turn Mother’s Day into something that keeps giving beyond just one day.
  • Wine Subscription or Winery Membership – A great option for the wine-loving mom who enjoys discovering new bottles throughout the year. Local wineries like Frind Estate offer wine club memberships with curated seasonal shipments and perks that extend beyond just the wine. Other great Okanagan options include Mission Hill Family Estate, Quails’ Gate, CedarCreek Estate Winery, Tantalus Vineyards, and Mt.   • Sweet Treats – Karat Chocolate and Sandrine French Pastry and Chocolate are both local companies that make delicious chocolate and other desserts.
  • Candles – Check out a great selection of candles at The Kelowna Candle Factory or Okanagan Candle Co.
  • A Garden Centre Gift Card – For the plant-loving mom, local spots like The GreeneryBetter Earth Gardens & TropicalsArt Knapp, and The Kelowna Flower Farm are just a few options.
