The 10 Patios You Want to be Sipping and Munching At

If you’re like me, you’re a sucker for a good patio. Why? Because nothing is more fun in the summertime in Kelowna than being outside by a waterfront eating incredible appies and drinking girly cocktails.
Here are my ten favorite patios I want to share with you:
1)Maestro’s at Manteo Resort
This patio boasts 150 seats and is lakeside. They disclose on their website, “any closer and you would be swimming”. This is perfectly true because you’re so close to the water that you can almost hear the whispers of the lake breeze. I would argue that this is probably my favorite lakeside dining patio in Kelowna.
2) Water Street Cactus Club
Technically sheltered, but still right by the water and downtown. The main board walk is planted right in front of the view so it grants the activity of people watching. Shade and water misters keep guests cool from the sweltering heat. This is consistently a popular destination for tourists and Kelowna locals.
3) Earls on Top
One of Kelowna’s original outdoor restaurant patios, but still possesses wait lists due to its major popularity. Located on the roof top of Earls, a guest has a bird’s eye view of the sails and the lake.
4) Oak and Cru
This is a newer patio located in the Delta Grand Hotel downtown. It’s water front but on the pond side of downtown so a little quainter. I would recommend this spot for a business meeting or a first date, as it’s lively, but not overwhelming.
5) Kelly O Bryan’s
Recently renovated, this patio is in usage all year around as it is heated during the winter. Amazing appies and copious amounts of drinks to choose from, this patio is always lively.
6) Hotel Eldorado
Lakeside dining and a marina in one. Guests love to come dine and then hop onto their boats. The Eldorado is away from downtown Kelowna so it gives a refreshing break from the downtown night life.
7) Old Vines Restaurant at Quails Gate
This patio is so elegant and charming while residing in West Kelowna. While sipping on award winning wine, a guest can gaze upon Okanagan Lake from afar.
8) Sunset Organic Bistro at Summer Hill Winery
Draping over this patio are vines and greenery with another breath taking view of the lake. See a pattern here? The Okanagan wineries know where it’s at.
9) 19 Okanagan
This patio is unique because it overlooks Two Eagles Golf Course. This view is perfect for lunch after a round of golf.
10) CRAFT Kelowna
CRAFT is new to Kelowna this summer occupying the spot of the old Paramount movie theatre. Being one of the largest patios, CRAFT displays a gorgeous panoramic view of downtown Kelowna.
