20 Things to Do in the Okanagan Before Summer Ends

Summer in the Okanagan is pure magic, with endless, long, sunny days, warm lake breezes, and numerous ways to soak up the season. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the summer, here’s your ultimate bucket list to make the most of every sun-soaked moment before it’s over.

Start your day with one of my favourite hikes that leads to one of Kelowna’s most iconic lakefront spots. Once you get to Paul’s Tomb, take a refreshing dip or even cliff-jump if you’re feeling brave. Check out more of my hike recommendations here.

If you’re looking for something a little more challenging, head to Peachland and conquer the popular Pincushion Mountain trail. The moderate hike is worth it for the breathtaking panoramic views of Okanagan Lake. Don’t forget to snap a photo at the top with the iconic Canadian flag, it’s a summer must-do!

Relive your childhood or bring the kids, Scandia is always a fun summer evening activity.
