Self-Care Activities in Kelowna
After a long dreary winter, there’s nothing like treating yourself to some much needed self-care! The changing of the season to Spring is the perfect opportunity to spend a little extra effort on your body and mind. Luckily for us, Kelowna has a variety of self-care activities!
Self-Care Activities in Kelowna
Head to the spa
If you’re looking for a facial specifically
Facials are great for re-hydration after the dry winter season. My go-to’s are getting a hydrafacial, chemical peel or micro blading.
- I’m currently partnered with Organic Glow Medical Aesthetics and have been LOVING it! The whole team is very welcoming and professional and the space is adorable. They offer a wide range of services and treatments to help you look and feel your best. If you’re looking for a new place to try, give them a visit – I highly recommend them!
- Araya Skin also offers great medical facials! With their result driven, medical-grade technology, they can treat all skin types safely and effectively.
- I have also been to Cosmetic Culture Sport + Spa in the past and have enjoyed my experience as well.
Pedicures
This is one of my favourite self-care activities to splurge on. I like to annually switch up where I get pedicures, even though I’m a classic white polish gal. Some of the places that I’ve been to that I recommend are:
Massage
Who doesn’t love a massage?! They are such a great way to relax both your body and mind.
- I currently see my friend Ashley Swanson who is an RMT at NuDepth Therapeutic Massage
- Orah Spa + Salon
- Beyond Wrapture Day Spa
Treat yourself to local flowers
- Visit the Kelowna Flower Farm
- Lavender and Lace Floral Farm & Design – offers seasonal blooms and flower subscriptions
- FleuRich Creations – her flowers are my FAVOURITE. I recently had them for my birthday photoshoot, check out how beautiful they were here
Head outside
Getting outside is one of my favourite forms of self-care. Being outside and moving your body is such a good way to clear your mind. Luckily for us, Kelowna has many great hikes close to the city. Knox Mountain is a classic hiking option right in town. For something a little harder, Lebanon Creek hike is a good work out or I like going to Peachland and doing Pincushion. Check out my top 7 recommended hikes in the area here. I also love visiting the many waterfalls in the area, which you can read more about here.
Visit a coffee shop
Grab a yummy coffee, read a book, write in your journal, or even just sit on your phone! Sometimes we don’t allow ourselves enough downtime. Kelowna has some great coffee shops to relax, including:
- Analog – a small, aesthetic, earthy toned space with great coffee
- Deville – a beautiful modern space that serves unique beverages such as their famous Nutella Hot Chocolate
- Sprout – a very spacious space indoor and outdoor seating with not only amazing coffee, but great bread

Relax at home
Run a bath with local products and enjoy a glass of wine!
Bath products:
- Check out Okanagan Soaps Luxury and Okanagan Lavender and Herb Farm bath products
- Find a variety of low-waste bath products at Fill Kelowna and Chickpeace Refillery
Wine:
- I love Kismet’s Saféd, Cedar Creek + Quails’ Gate Rose, and Summerhill Cipes Brut
Well, there you have it! Time to get your pamper on. You deserve self-care and I hope this blog post gives you inspiration for some YOU time!
